- Are technical documents for the data sources available?
- What delay is acceptable for current data?
- How will outages and sensor faults be detected?
- Which role responds to an alarm?
- What retention and reporting requirements apply?

Placement, calibration and product storage requirements are validated. Ambient temperature alone does not prove product core temperature.
